NAME
update.mtree -- update mtree data base for /etc/security

SYNOPSIS
update.mtree [-ahnwkK ] [-directory ]

DESCRIPTION
The utility update.mtree create or update the database for protection against Trojan horsed binaries. Normally /etc/security checks binaries if /etc/mtree/*.secure files exist. You can maintain easily them with update.mtree.

The following options are available:

-a Update all directory database in /etc/mtree.
-h Display help message.
-n Normally, update.mtree creates encrypted database if crypt utility exists. This option disables creating crypted database.
-w Warn if database file does not exists in /etc/mtree.
-k Invoke crypt with key which will be asked with the prompt "Enter old encrypt Key -> ".
-K Encrypt NEW datebase with key which will be asked with the prompt "Enter new encrypt Key -> ". If -K option does not supplied but -k option specified, then same key will be used for encryption new database.
Note: This key will be used if only new database is created.
